Back Pressure Regulator

Back Pressure Regulators are designed to control upstream (P1) pressure by relieving all pressure above a set pressure from the process being controlled. The Burling Valve regulators can be configured to control the pressure of various gases and liquids accurately and repeatably. Ranging in sizes from 1/2″ up to 6″ flange mount, the Burling Valve pressure reducing regulators are available with dome-loaded, spring-loaded or mechanically piloted version.

BD6

Back Pressure, By using back pressure trim instead of standard trim, a dome-loaded back pressure regulator is created.

BS5

Back Pressure, Replacing the standard trim with back pressure trim, produces the simplest direct acting back pressure regulator.

BS8

Positive Differential Back Pressure, By using a positive bias on the the compressed spring with back pressure trim, produces a positive differential back pressure regulator.

BS8-3

Negative Differential Back Pressure, Similarly, by utilizing the spring in a negative or tension mode along with back pressure trim creates a negative differential back pressure regulator
